Form I-94 and B-1/B-2 Visa Extension of Stay Package
About Form I-94: The purpose of Form I-94/I-94W is to record the arrival and departure information of all visitors to the United States. Most visitors to the United States need to apply for a visa before entering the U.S., unless if the person is a citizen of one of the 35 visa waiver countries and has a machine-readable passport. Citizens of visa waiver countries can enter the U.S. for up to 90-day visa-free. Visa Extension of Stay: Foreign nationals visiting the United States on a B-1 Business Visa or on a B-2 Tourist Visa are issued an I-94 form by a United States immigration officer upon entry into the country. The I-94 Form is a small white card which displays the bearer’s arrival date and location of entry into the United States. It also shows the date by which the bearer must depart the United States.
