Waiver
The term used to describe the change of inadmissibility for certain aliens, either in the United States or outside the United States.

Referred to as North America, Central America, South America, and the adjacent islands according to INA 101(b)(5).

Withdrawal
Withdrawal occurs if arriving foreigners voluntarily withdraw their application for admission to the United States instead of having to appear in front of an immigration judge for a removal hearing or a fast removal. Withdrawals are not listed under a person’s nonimmigrant admittance data
