Form AR-11 Change of Address Form
Form AR-11 is used to report an individual’s change of address in the United States. Form AR-11 (Change of Address) may also be known as Immigration Form AR11, AR 11 or USCIS Form AR11. Form AR-11 must be completed by non-U.S. citizens within 10 days of change of address, ref. INA § 262 and 261. There is a difference between changing your address for legal purposes and for pending petitions or applications. Individuals that do not comply on purpose will automatically commit a misdemeanor crime. The consequences if convicted may be a fine and/or imprisonment, or deportation from the United States.
Immigration forms may not contain filing instructions. It is vital to submit the correct form for each particular case. If you submit an incorrect form, do not complete it correctly, or do not provide the necessary documentation, your application may be denied.
