Description:
Individuals that have submitted an application to the USCIS can find out the status of their own application as long as a Receipt Number has been issued. Case Status is an application tracking system which only applies to applications submitted to the USCIS. Passport applicants cannot use the USCIS Case Status system, as the Department of State is in charge of issuing passports.
